Hotel Schönegg, Seefeld

Family Holidays in Winter

Seefeld, a great place to learn – in the winter it's difficult to describe it any better.

Geigenbühel

The Geigenbühel: sunny and in the centre of the village, only three minutes on foot from us, and a "Bühel", a typical Tyrolean word for a small gradually-sloping hillock.

Children can learn snowboarding and skiing and learn to use the lifts on this welcoming area and you can watch their progress with a fortifying mulled wine!

For children who know how to ski the Gschwandtkopf is a great option and the Rosshütte is suitable for those who are already confident on ski or snowboard. On the Rosshütte there is also a separate Fun Snowboarder Park. Since both of these ski areas are at the edge of Seefeld they can be reached by car or with the ski bus. The ski bus stop in only three minutes from us, directly in front of the Geigenbühel ski area.

Additionally: the Seefeld Ski School office is also located at the ski bus stop near the Geigenbühel!

And for those days off from skiing there are plenty of toboggan runs. We have a (limited!) selection of toboggans and sleds which can be used free by hotel guests.

Snowshoe walking, ice skating, curling or simply hiking up a snowy slope: you and your children can make your winter holidays an unforgettable experience.

In winter the Gizzis Children's Club is also in operation (near the ski school at the Geigenbühel) for child care even if a ski course hasn't been booked. All day or half day from 18 months of age.
